Tropical wood with brass fittings, height with chimney 39 cm, base 47.5 x 25 cm, for strips of 120 mm wide and up to 24 mm thick, with condenser, side doors with blue glass filters, carrying handles on both sides, optics: Long brass mount with two extensions and holder with focusing mechanism for cylindrical lenses of 53 mm diameter, designed for a 12-inch lens (not included). – The optical illusion: When viewed from behind with both eyes (lantern against a light background) to the condenser, one initially feels as if one could grasp the extended, reflective extension of the brass mount directly in front of oneself. With matching tripod (comparable ones were offered by Molteni), tilting work surface 40 x 60 cm (enough space for a biunial lantern plus discs), height adjustable from 76 to 105 cm, with locking screw for the column. Both units are in good condition and suitable for use.
